Job Description Boiler Technician - $35-$45/hour Location: Indianapolis, IN Job Type: Full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) Reports To: Plumbing Service Operations Manager Why This Role Works for You Join our team as a Boiler Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of heating and domestic hot water systems. Control and adjust boiler processes to meet steam or hot water production requirements. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards during boiler operation. Maintenance and Inspection: Perform inspections of boilers and related components to identify and address potential issues.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts. Keep accurate maintenance records on customers' logbooks. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions, leaks, and other technical problems.

Make necessary repairs or adjustments to restore boiler functionality. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel or contractors for major repairs or upgrades. Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Monitor and control boiler pressure, temperature, and other parameters to prevent accidents or equipment damage. Efficiency Optimization: Recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance boiler performance and reliability.
