Job description

The Boiler/Burner Service Technician Apprentice will primarily work on industrial boilers and commercial heating systems, supporting the maintenance and inspection of these critical pieces of equipment. Reporting to a senior technician, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, installation, and safety compliance while performing preventive maintenance and communicating effectively with customers. This position involves local travel and requires a strong commitment to learning and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform boiler maintenance and burner inspections on industrial and commercial heating systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues under the guidance of senior technicians
  • Assist with equipment installation and parts replacement
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and performance testing
