About the Role:
PLUMBING & HEATING CORP is looking for a skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our growing team in New York, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your hands-on expertise to a company that values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in keeping New York's homes and businesses running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and drains
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Perform pipe fitting, soldering, and welding as needed
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
  • Collaborate with foremen and crew members on job sites to ensure timely project completion
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements:
  • Proven experience 6+ years as a Plumbing Mechanic 
  • Valid NYS driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
  • Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
