Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Review Engineerto join the Production Engineering team located in Ridley Park, PA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing non-conformances on the H47 program and providing a disposition for resolution.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with analysis and disposition of products for non-conformance; supports configuration control.

  • Provides basic assistance to identify and document deviations that could impact product integrity, safety, design and regulatory requirements.

  • Collects data to support root causes analysis and assists with implementing corrective action.

  • Provides technical support by researching issues related to design, manufacturing, regulations and process.

  • Supports activities to define, initiate and approves technical content for revisions/improvements to product definition data.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): (please see education and experience for the levels below)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

  • 1+ years of experince in an engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • 2 or more years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams.

  • Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.

  • Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience.

  • Production engineering experience.

  • Relevant technological knowledge.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment.

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 2

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
