REPORTING TO: Warehouse Lead / Inventory Control Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
โ€ข Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
โ€ข Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
โ€ข Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
โ€ข Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
โ€ข Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
โ€ข Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections;
โ€ข Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management, Inventory Control, Lifting, Data Entry Skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
โ€ข This position will work in both front and shop environments.
โ€ข In the shop, you will be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to have good hearing and sight.
โ€ข You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
