Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Company quality control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, and close-out
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Practical knowledge of latest NEC Codes
  • Utilize McCormick Estimating Software for project estimates and cost tracking
  • Manage job costing, billing, and financial reporting using Foundation Accounting Software. Prepare Schedules of Values; Prepare, track and resolve all change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address and document all issues and/or delays
  • Prepare monthly cost to complete reports and present project weekly status reports to leadership and clients
  • Schedule and attend weekly site meetings with field and customer personnel

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical project management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
  • Proficiency with McCormick Estimating Software and Foundation Accounting Software preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Autodesk and Bluebeam software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
