Job Title: Blending Operator

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, occasionally required to work Friday's during high volume periods

Days: 6:00am-4:30pm

Swing: 4:30pm-3:00am

Shifts Needed: Regular & Swing Shift

JOB SUMMARY

The Powders Blending Operator is responsible for blending nutraceutical ingredients, operating blending equipment, completing manufacturing documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality products while maintaining compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate powder blending equipment from loading through unloading.
  • Weigh and blend raw materials according to manufacturing instructions.
  • Accurately document weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks.
  • Complete manufacturing paperwork and production records.
  • Perform daily quality checks and follow all cGMP requirements.
  • Clean blending equipment, production rooms, and supporting machinery.
  • Perform basic inventory and MRP transactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support food safety and quality initiatives in accordance with SQF standards.
  • Report any quality, food safety, or workplace safety concerns.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or blending experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to read scales and accurately weigh ingredients.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to follow established procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform repetitive movements and maintain full range of motion.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
