Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.Legend Biotech is seeking a Sr. Director, EHS, Facilities Management & Engineering as part of the Facilities & Engineering team based in Somerset, NJ.Role OverviewThe Sr. Director, Facilities, Services & Engineering is the senior leader responsible for the strategy, operation, and performance of all Legend Biotech facilities including GMP manufacturing sites, laboratories, corporate offices, administrative buildings, and shared global infrastructure.

This role ensures reliable, safe, compliant, and efficient operations across utilities, engineering, building systems, environmental services, capital project execution, and workplace/office services.The Sr. Director leads the integrated facilities and engineering organization to support manufacturing, clinical operations, R&D, and corporate growth while ensuring world-class employee experience and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Facilities Leadership (GMP & non-GMP)Lead facilities operations for all Legend Biotech locations, including manufacturing sites, labs, offices, leased spaces, and new buildouts.Ensure consistent service levels, standardized processes, and high reliability across all facilities.Oversee building infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems, life safety, landscaping, and workplace environments).Maintain compliance with global regulatory, corporate, and local building & safety requirements.GMP Facilities & UtilitiesOversee critical GMP utilities: HVAC, cleanrooms, water treatment , clean steam, compressed gases, BMS/EMS, controlled environments.Ensure validated state and audit readiness at all times.Partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS to maintain uninterrupted production.Engineering & Equipment ReliabilityLead engineering support for equipment lifecycle management across GMP and non-GMP areas.Manage maintenance strategy, calibration programs, CMMS utilization, and reliability initiatives.Support equipment readiness for tech transfers, automation upgrades, and expansion projects.Corporate Offices & Workplace ServicesOversee all corporate office environments, including:Office operationsWorkspace planning & allocationSecurity & access controlJanitorial, cafeteria, reception, and mailroom servicesVendor management for furniture, workspace design, and site amenitiesEnsure a high-quality, safe, ergonomic, and productive work environment for employees.Site ServicesManage site-wide services including waste management, hazardous waste, groundskeeping, shipping/receiving, warehousing, sustainability initiatives, and emergency response planning.Ensure a consistent service model across all locations.Capital Projects & ExpansionLead planning and execution of multi-million-dollar capital projects including new facilities, office expansions, GMP cleanroom construction, laboratory constructions , and infrastructure upgrades.Oversee feasibility studies, scope definition, construction, commissioning, and handover.Strategic Planning & Budget ManagementDevelop a global facilities & engineering strategy aligned with Legend's growth trajectory.Lead multi-year capital planning, operational budgeting, vendor strategy, and cost optimization.Ensure business continuity and long-term capacity planning.Leadership & People DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing, diverse team across facilities, engineering, site operations, and workplace management.Drive a culture of safety, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ability to interact with all levels within the global organization.
