REMOTE- Area Sales Manager (Personal Care) Location: Remote, USA (East Coast based; 50%+ travel required) About the Role: We're looking for an entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager – North America (Remote) to drive growth across our sustainable cosmetic ingredients portfolio. Backed by a multinational organization, you'll shape and execute the commercial strategy, manage distributors and direct accounts, and lead promotional efforts throughout North America. This is a high-impact, autonomous role that blends scientific knowledge, customer relationship management, and strategic sales execution for the personal care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell bio-based cosmetic ingredients (e.g., green glycols, actives, floral waters) Build and maintain relationships with formulators, marketers, buyers, and microbiologists Organize and conduct webinars, seminars, and represent the company at trade shows Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with global teams Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasting, and market trends Required Skills & Qualifications: Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology (with a focus on cosmetics preferred) 3–5 years of sales experience in cosmetic ingredients across North America Strong understanding of both technical and marketing aspects of formulations Proven relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive with autonomy Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50%+ (domestic and international) Remote/home-office flexibility Autonomy and entrepreneurial culture We're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
