Summary:

  • Floor Walker/ Cashier/ Caller are able to perform the duties of Paymaster or Inventory Clerk depending on the requirements of each session. This would be determined before the start of the session and would remain the same for the entire session. The individual may be either a Dual Rate for Paymaster or Inventory Clerk but never both. While in the role of Paymaster they must perform all Paymaster duties. While in the role of Inventory Clerk they must perform all Inventory Clerk duties.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Dual Rate for Paymaster:

  • Assist with the setup of the Bingo hall including getting bingo paper ready, setting out trash bags, cleaning tables, setting up tables, vacuuming, setting up Bingo equipment, checking lights of Bingo boards, etc.
  • Reports to work in a timely fashion.
  • Monitors and documents the performance of the Bingo Staff, ensuring adherence to Golden Eagle Casino Bingo Procedure Manual and handbook.
  • Responsible for any papers, packets, and/or forms for maintaining cashier and guest accountability.
  • Trains cashiers and maintains cashier knowledge of machines and sales aids.
  • Oversees each cashiers count of packet and moneys, and is responsible for recounts at the close of business.
  • Responsible for reading, comprehension and adherence of regulatory, Bingo, and Golden Eagle Casino policies and procedures.
  • Fosters and maintains a positive attitude toward the fellow team members, management, and guests.
  • Will be responsible for funds transferred.
  • Accountable for cashier training and updating that training as if becomes necessary. Also, responsible for all moneys and counts, that the cashiers handles, to ensure proper accounting.
  • Will assist with clean up after the Bingo session including emptying ashtrays, sanitizing the tables, placing all debris in trash bags, placing trash bags by the door to be taken to the compactor, vacuuming, tearing down Bingo equipment, etc.
  • May work entertainment including concerts, parades, etc. when Bingo is not in session or conflicts with regular Bingo schedule.
  • Performs other duties assigned by Bingo Manager or Golden Eagle Casino Management
  • As a supervisor position, will not receive tips.
  • Responsible for issuing/ receiving the Cashiers/Floor Attendants impressed bank for the session.
  • Responsible for payouts of winning Bingos and printing winning Handset faces.
  • Responsible for calling all parties for notification of winning progressive or Jackpot and completing all necessary paperwork according to the Bingo Procedure Manual.
  • Responsible for starting the system for the computer to run the Bingo session
  • Responsible for assuring that all paperwork is properly signed and completed for the folder that is sent to Accounting at the end of each session.
  • Responsible for receiving and verifying the funds transferred from the Vault by a security guard.
  • Responsible for securing funds transferred back to the Vault at the end of the session.

As a Dual rate for Inventory Clerk:


  • Assist with the setup of the Bingo hall including getting bingo paper ready, setting out trash bags, cleaning tables, setting up tables, vacuuming, setting up Bingo equipment, checking lights of Bingo boards, etc.
  • Reports to work in a timely fashion.
  • Adheres to Golden Eagle Casino Bingo Procedure Manual and handbook.
  • Monitors all inventory of paper and returns accurately.
  • Keeps records and reports on needs, requirements, and usage concerning all papers and supplies.
  • Track inventory using the computer program utilized by Bingo Department.
  • Prepares any necessary packets, including special games, for each session.
  • Ensures enough packets for each gaming session.
  • Keeps records according to serial numbers of all papers, games played, and sessions.
  • Responsible for maintaining paper packet supplies for cashiers and customers.
  • Will assist with clean up after the Bingo session including emptying ashtrays, sanitizing the tables, placing all debris in trash bags, placing trash bags by the door to be taken to the compactor, vacuuming, tearing down Bingo equipment, etc.
  • May work entertainment including concerts, parades, etc. when Bingo is not in session or conflicts with regular Bingo schedule.
  • Performs other duties assigned by Bingo Manager or Golden Eagle Casino Management

Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • One (1) year in Bingo/Gaming required


Other Skills:


  • Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to supervise and train cashiers.
  • Must have good communication skills, and be able to work calmly and professionally under stress.
  • Must show proficiency with office equipment, including, but not limited to: 10 key adding machine, computers, fax machine, and copier.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke, bright lights, high noise levels, and dust.
  • Must have excellent cash handling
  • Must possess effectively documentation skills.
  • Must be able to develop and work within a team effort.
  • Effective at presenting information.
