What does a bingo caller do?

A bingo caller works at a bingo hall that offers bingo games regularly or during special events that provide bingo as entertainment. In this role, your job duties include operating manual or automated game equipment that randomly selects the numbers, calling out the chosen numbers, keeping track of the figures that you have already been drawn, and checking the numbers and the cards of players that achieve “bingo” during a game. To add excitement during the game, you also announce promotions and award prizes to the winners. Some bingo callers serve as an MC for the event, interacting with and entertaining the people playing the game. You may also travel to different venues to host games.
