Job description

Good Samritian is an older adult living facility. Good Sam in Loveland is in need of multiple volunteers for various different tasks. However, all include personable experiences, relationship building and connection focused. Some are short term and some are longer term, reach out so we can help place you where you think it the best fit!

CURRENT OPEN OPPORTUNITIES

  • WELCOME CENTER RECEPTION DESK:
    • Welcome People
    • Direct people where they need to go
    • Call Marketing Dept. to take with prospective residents
    • Assist Vendors by calling department that is appropriate
    • Assist getting deliveries sent to Business Office
    • Provide Information Packets as appropriate
    • Direct visitors to room and apartment numbers of residents
    • Contact staff members as needed for visitors questions, etc.
    • Shifts Available:
      • Tuesdays 1pm - 4pm
      • Wednesdays 1pm - 4pm
      • Thursdays 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
      • Thursdays 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
  • ACTIVITIES HELPMATE - HEALTH CARE (ongoing opportunity) Work side by side with Activities Staff and Nursing Staff to help with a variety of tasks that benefit the resident. Shifts available everyday from 7:30-11:30am, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Check in on residents in their rooms and assist with light tasks (open blinds, obtain items they need, etc..)
    • Deliver warm blankets to residents
    • Offer books, magazines, activities supplies
    • Bring Daily Activities flyer to residents and encourage them to participate in activities
    • Help residents get to and from any activities of choice
    • Answer Call Lights for light items such as opening blinds, refill waters, assistance with organization in room.
    • Help deliver breakfast room trays, and remove trays following the breakfast meal
  • RECEPTION DESK - HEALTH CARE We are looking for volunteers for the following weekly shifts:
    • Thursdays 1pm - 5pm
  • Bingo Caller - Assisted Living / Senior Living
    • Tuesdays and Fridays
    • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    • Sunshine Cove
    • Caller needed to support this event - we need the extra hands on deck so that we can offer elevated refreshments!
