Job description


The Cage Supervisor oversees all cage operations during assigned shifts to ensure accuracy, security, and exceptional guest service. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to Guest Services Team while maintaining compliance with gaming regulations, Title 31, and company policies. The Cage Supervisor also coordinates with other departments, assists guests and team members, and ensures cage activities run efficiently and professionally. Starting Pay: $29.00
Responsibilities
  • Supervise cage operations and team members during assigned shifts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to Cage Cashiers; assist in training and development of team members.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality related to financial data, operational systems, company procedures, marketing information, and employee/guest records.
  • Monitor compliance with company SOPs, gaming regulations, and all federal requirements including Title 31 and anti-money- laundering standards.
  • Assist guests and team members by providing accurate information regarding casino events, promotions, and amenities.
  • Support cross department collaboration by responding to requests from other departments and assisting- in resolving operational issues.
  • Conduct audits, verify funds, and oversee accuracy of all cage transactions and paperwork.
  • Administer disciplinary actions, when necessary, in accordance with company policies and HR procedures.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused- environment for both guests and employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • One year cashier or banking experience preferred.
  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and appropriately complete all necessary documentation.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to complete forms and basic mathematical functions.
  • Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Good communication skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Use of personal computer, 10 key calculator, photocopier, embosser, printer, bar scanner, currency counter, Credit card advances and check cashing system.
  • Valid Colorado Support Gaming License.
