Job description

Overview

Under general supervision, the Bingo Cashier assists guests selling both paper and electronic bingo buy-ins and other bingo supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains and monitors all assigned funds for each shift.
  • Sells Bingo buy-ins (both paper and electronic) to the Bingo players prior to the start of the Bingo session.
  • Assists in the completion of the Bingo paperwork.
  • Assists the bussing window as needed.
  • Issues cash prizes to the Floor Sellers for payment to the winning guests.
  • Takes cash drops from the Floor Sellers.
  • Verifies and counts returned pull-tabs.
  • Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • One year of prior experience as a cashier, teller, or similar position.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, promotions, and/or public relations is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and Internet.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
