JOB SUMMARY


  • Responsible for the developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring all functions of the Bingo Hall, which may include Pull Tabs and Mega Mania.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the setup of the Bingo Hall including getting bingo paper ready, setting out trash bags, cleaning tables, setting up tables, vacuuming, setting up Bingo equipment, checking lights of Bingo boards, etc.

  • Monitors the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures.

  • May perform functions of subordinate staff as required.

  • Develops and executes an annual business plan and budget for the Bingo Department.

  • Maintains a monthly budget, justifying ant unusual variances while providing a monthly status report.

  • Approves all purchase orders of products for Bingo while maintaining inventory levels.

  • Develops, implements, and coordinates short- and long-range objectives including marketing promotions and/or special projects relating to Bingo in conjunction with Golden Eagle Casino Marketing Personnel or Management to increase Golden Eagle Casino's share of the high-quality gaming customer market.

  • Maintains and submits required records and reports.

  • Maintains the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records.

  • Adheres to regulatory, department, and company policies.

  • Responsible for resolving conflicts involving employees and/or guests in a way which maintains consistency with Golden Eagle Casino's policies and the State Gaming Compact.

  • Fosters and maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management, and the customers.

  • Manages the Bingo Supervisor and the other Bingo team members.

  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluations of this department including hiring, training, career development; assigning and appraising work performance; planning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems for Bingo personnel.

  • Will assist with clean up after the Bingo session including emptying ashtrays, sanitizing the tables, placing all debris in trash bags, placing trash bags by the door to be taken to the compactor, vacuuming, tearing down Bingo equipment, etc.

  • May work entertainment including concerts, parades, etc. when Bingo is not in session or conflicts with regular Bingo schedule.

  • Performs other duties assigned by Golden Eagle Casino Management.


Education and Experience:


    • Associate's degree (AA) required
    • Two to three years in Bingo/Gaming required
    • One (1) year in a comparable supervisory position required



Other Skills:


    • Ability to supervise and train all Bingo team members and trainees in the Golden Eagle Management Training Program.
    • Must have good communication skills and be able to work calmly and professionally under stress.
    • Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Golden Eagle Casino Player Tracking system, etc.
    • Must show proficiency with office equipment, including, but not limited to 10 key adding machine, computers, fax machine, and copier.
    • Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke, bright lights, high noise levels, and dust.
    • Must possess effectively documentation skills.
    • Must be able to develop and work within a team effort.
