This is where our Production Team comes in!
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines
  • Follow job specifications to produce printed materials according to client requirements
Required Skills:
  • Experience in commercial printing and bindery operations
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot bindery equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Understanding of color management and print production
Responsibility Overview:
  • Perform bindery function as noted on work orders/job tickets. This may include: folding, cutting, padding, numbering, GBC punching, spiral or coil binding, fastback, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating, and wrapping.
  • Establish priorities by dates on work orders/job tickets, and when necessary, priorities set by management.
  • Package jobs, complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary, and place them in designated areas.
  • Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using the shipper designated on the work order/job ticket.
  • Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and operable.
  • Order supplies required using proper procedures.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with PrintSmith Workflow and Heidelberg & Duplo equipment
  • Knowledge of direct mail and finishing processes
