About the Role: 

Billtrust is seeking an experienced "hunter" to lead sales efforts in identifying, qualifying and closing new Corporate customers which sells into companies up to $1B in net revenue. You will manage complex sales cycles for our best-in-class, SaaS order-to-cash solutions. You will identify cost-saving opportunities and demonstrate to prospects how our cloud-based solutions improve and transform their business. We have enjoyed year-over-year growth for over a decade, and as a Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to channel your ambition and inner drive to increase the footprint of our market-leading, cloud-based software and integrated payment processing solutions.

What You'll Do: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue goals and drive business growth
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online platforms.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that convey the value proposition of our solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales team to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client requirements
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Development and Sales Ops to manage leads and drive deal flow
  • Provide feedback to Product, Professional Services and other teams for process and product improvements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new market opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven success in selling software to VP and C-Level and exceeding quota - 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Selling Software-as-a-Service experience; Payments, AR, AP, ERP and/or FinTech experience nice-to-have
  • Demonstrated ability to understand an enterprise solution and manage a complex sales cycle, with deal sizes over $150k in ARR
  • An understanding of a multi stakeholder sales environment that involves multiple products and departments. Also a student of sales, bringing solid experience with various sales methodologies, such as Solution Selling, Sandler, or Miller Heiman
  • Strong presentation skills, both in-person and on-line via webinar
  • Attentiveness to details and advanced listening skills
  • Continuous learner, technical curiosity, and an interest in the payments/AR ecosystem
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well within a distributed, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to leverage Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools 
  • Comfortable with up to 25-35% travel ~ 2-4 Customer Sites a month

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
