Job description

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detailoriented and motivatedStaff Accountantto support daytoday accounting operations and monthend close. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, journal entries, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate has handson experience withSage Intacct and Bill.com, a strong accounting foundation, and thrives in a deadlinedriven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manageaccounts payableandaccounts receivableprocesses, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
  • Performrevenue recognitionin accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Prepare and postjournal entriesaccurately and timely
  • Completeaccount reconciliationsfor balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Support and actively participate inmonthend closeactivities
  • Assist with financial reporting and internal documentation as needed
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
