Woodland Moving & Warehouse is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

This role is responsible for keeping our billing and accounts receivable processes accurate, organized, and on track. You'll work closely with our Operations and Accounting teams to ensure completed jobs are invoiced correctly, payments are applied accurately, and customer accounts remain up to date.

We're seeking someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in getting the details right, and understands the importance of maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced business environment.

What You'll Do

Billing & Invoicing

  • Process daily invoices using QuickBooks
  • Review completed jobs to verify billing accuracy
  • Ensure all services, materials, and charges are invoiced correctly
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies when they arise
  • Maintain accurate customer billing records

Accounts Receivable

  • Monitor outstanding customer balances
  • Apply incoming payments and update account records
  • Follow up on past-due invoices in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with collections and account reconciliation activities
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable reporting

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end processes
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records
  • Support internal reporting and documentation needs
  • Coordinate with Operations to verify job information and billing details
  • Respond to billing-related inquiries from customers and internal departments

What We're Looking For

  • Previous bookkeeping, accounting, billing, or accounts receivable experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable work ethic and strong sense of accountability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Accounts receivable and collections experience
  • Experience within a moving, transportation, logistics, storage, or service-based company
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
