Labcorp is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our team at Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Job Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration

  • Serve as subject matter expert for benefit programs

  • Administer health, welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs

  • Support HSA, FSA, commuter, COBRA, and wellness programs

  • Resolve employee benefit inquiries through case management tools

  • Partner with HR and internal teams to ensure smooth operations

  • Assist with Annual Enrollment planning and execution, including testing, communications, and issue tracking

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, ACA, HIPAA regulations

  • Support Form 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing, and required notices

  • Participate in audits andmaintaindocumentation

  • Support Vendor Risk Assessments (VRAs)

Data, Reporting & Analysis

  • Develop andmaintainreports and dashboards

  • Perform advanced Excel analysis (pivot tables, reconciliation, trends)

  • Conduct payroll and benefits deduction audits

  • Support benchmarking and survey submissions

  • Drive process and operational improvements

HR Technology & Integrations

  • Partner with HR Technology, Payroll, and vendors on integrations and data feeds

  • Troubleshoot integration errors and data discrepancies

  • Support system testing including annual enrollment

  • Identifyautomation opportunities

Vendor Management

  • Support vendor relationships and issue resolution

  • Participate in vendor implementations and renewals

  • Work with consultants and brokers on program delivery

Financial & Audit Support

  • Support benefit funding and billing reconciliation

  • Validate enrollment and eligibility accuracy

  • Assistwith retirement plan funding and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field

  • 3 or more years of benefits experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years' experience with Workday or similar HCM Systems

  • 1 or more years' experience with benefits integrations

  • 1 or more years' experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, IRS regulations

The Benefits Analyst, U.S. is responsible for the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of employee benefit programs, including health & welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefits. Partners with HR, Payroll, HR Technology and external vendors to ensureaccuratedelivery, regulatory compliance, anda high-quality employee experience. Supports data analysis, reporting, system integrations, and vendor management.

Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.Employees who are regularly scheduled toworka 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
