Position Overview:
Are you passionate about helping businesses create benefits programs that support their employees? We're looking for an Employee Benefits Relationship Manager to join our team and serve as a trusted partner to our clients.
In this role, you'll work closely with employers to navigate their employee benefits offerings, answer questions, coordinate renewals, and provide ongoing support throughout the year. You'll be the person clients rely on for guidance, responsiveness, and a seamless experience.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong professional relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service while managing a diverse portfolio of accounts.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer groups and key contacts
Serve as the primary resource for benefits-related questions and service requests
Guide clients through annual renewals and help evaluate available plan options
Coordinate open enrollment activities and assist with employee education efforts
Partner with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and support client needs
Assist with enrollments, eligibility updates, and policy changes
Support new client onboarding and ensure a smooth implementation process
Monitor account activity and proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience
Stay informed on industry developments, carrier updates, and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For:
Active California Life & Health license (or ability to obtain)
Experience in employee benefits, group insurance, account management, or a related field
Knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance products
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and benefits administration platforms such as Employee Navigator
