This role will operate in a fully remote setting, leveraging the capabilities of telehealth to deliver high-quality therapy to patients. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment modalities.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, employing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processes to enable healing and the adoption of effective coping strategies.
• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to support their recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical healthcare standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities, focusing on trauma-informed practices and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance both patient care and personal expertise.

The primary focus of this role is to work with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorder impacts. Our patients often arrive with diverse backgrounds and experiences, seeking guidance and support to address their mental health challenges. The therapist must demonstrate a profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and exhibit resilience-building techniques tailored to individual needs.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the state of Massachusetts as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally with trauma-affected populations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate demeanor and non-judgmental attitude.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy techniques and successful treatment outcomes.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations and respond calmly during emergencies to ensure patient safety.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team environment.
