This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still delivering essential mental health services via telehealth. You will be equipped with the latest technology to conduct virtual sessions, ensuring both you and your clients have a seamless therapy experience. The remote setting fosters a collaborative culture among your peers, where you will have opportunities to engage in case consultations and team meetings via video conferencing.

  • Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care tailored to each client.
  • Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety.
  • Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and equipping them with effective coping mechanisms.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in trauma therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with various trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma. You will assist these individuals in navigating their challenges and empower them in their journey toward healing and resilience. Our clientele varies, providing you with a diverse range of cases and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications

Applicants are required to possess:

  • Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to approach clients with compassion and understanding.
  • The capacity to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience

While 2 years of professional experience is required, candidates with additional experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies or who have worked in a similar remote or telehealth environment will be preferred. A strong background in effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration is highly desirable.
