Bell Captain at Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa
Pay will be based on experience: PAY + TIPS
Supervise bellmen as well as perform the daily responsibilities of these positions by establishing guest service and sustainability standards.
Essential Job Functions
  • Schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Hilton values.
  • Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals and ensuring sufficient staffing to meet daily business demands.
  • Maintain security of and accurate records for all guest room keys issued to bell and door staff.
  • Accommodate guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate group luggage requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working conditions of departmental equipment/supplies.
  • Ensure that pertinent information is documented in the log book daily.
  • Load and unload luggage carts.
  • Tag and store luggage.
  • Escort guests to hotel rooms.
  • Make deliveries to guest rooms.
  • Assist guests with room changes.
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a related function in a hotel is required.

Work Environment and Context
  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
