Are you ready to lead with purpose and create unforgettable first impressions? We are seeking a dedicated and service-focused Valet/Bell Captain to join our Guest Services team, an essential leadership role at the heart of our arrival and departure experience.
Job Summary:
The Valet/Bell Captain is responsible for supporting the Guest Services Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of valet parking and bell services. This key position ensures that our team delivers warm, attentive, and efficient service that enhances each guest's stay from the moment they arrive.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and train the valet parking and bell staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Create a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for team members, bearing in mind holidays and times of high volume for the business.
  • Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees, with aware of unforeseen challenges such as scheduling.
  • Oversee the handling of tickets and establish accountability by ensuring each ticket is properly funded with the correct amount of charges and close out each shift to ensure all funds are accounted for.
  • Establish tasks for team members to ensure a clean workplace; this includes stocking supplies and maintaining a clean drive.
  • Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each team member and provide feedback.
  • Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize and address guest needs promptly and courteously while maintaining a composed and professional demeanor.
  • Prioritizing tasks, organizing work processes, and adhering to established procedures to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Analyzing and resolving problems with a proactive and thoughtful approach, demonstrating good judgment in decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Drivers License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
