Job description

We are seeking a motivated Bellman to join our team at the hotel. The Bellman is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their luggage and providing other services as needed. The successful candidate is professional, personable, and has excellent customer service skills.

Bellman Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their designated room.
  • Load and unload luggage onto carts and transport them to and from guest rooms.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel services and amenities.
  • Answer guest inquiries and address their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage and retrieval.
  • Assist guests with transportation needs and provide directions to local attractions.
  • Ensure the lobby and other public areas are clean and organized.
  • Assist Front Desk with verifying Check out rooms after Check Out Time.
  • Sort out Mail and packages for the Hotel, Permanent Guests and Transient Guests.

Bellman Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent,
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or customer service industry preferred but not required.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Outstanding customer service skills, understands and speaks English.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
