Job Title: Bellman/Guest Services Date: 5/18/2026
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Status: Non-Exempt

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Bellman delivers service excellence and facilitates a positive guest experience while managing the arrival and departure process. This position is responsible for assisting guests with luggage, providing local information, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.


Performance Expectations:

  1. Greet arriving and departing guests warmly, opening doors and offering assistance immediately.
  2. Transport guest luggage efficiently to and from guest rooms, vehicles, and the holding area.
  3. Escort guests to rooms while highlighting hotel amenities, emergency exits, and room features.
  4. Store and label guest baggage securely using the proper luggage tagging system.
  5. Provide accurate directions and information regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services.
  6. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, front entrance, and bell desk.
  7. Arrange or assist with guest transportation requests, including taxis, shuttles, and rideshares.
  8. Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
  9. High level understanding of emergency procedures to assist in directing guests during evacuations.
  10. Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in public areas or carts.
  11. Follow all safety and lifting procedures while handling heavy luggage and equipment.

Behavioral Expectations:
Be effective and innovative in handling and solving problems in the workplace. Remain calm, polite, and professional during high-volume periods and when resolving guest complaints. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance that aligns with Hilton brand standards. Demonstrate strong teamwork by assisting the front desk and valet staff whenever necessary.
