Overview
Behavioral Health Associate (Direct Support Professional / Behavioral Health Technician/Youth Mentor)
Pay: $21.00/hour | Full-Time | On-Site | 4-Day Work Weeks
Location: 130 Calo Lane, Lake Ozark, MO 65049
Shifts available: | Mid (1PM-10PM) | Overnight (8:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
Weekend availability required

Calo Programs is hiring Behavioral Health Associates-also known as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Youth Care Workers, Residential Counselors, Youth Mentors, or Behavioral Health Technicians-to support youth overcoming trauma and emotional challenges.

Your Role:
As a Behavioral Health Associate, you'll build meaningful relationships with our students while ensuring their safety and emotional well-being. You'll lead daily routines, attend therapy groups, and participate in engaging on- and off-campus activities that promote healing and personal growth.
Responsibilities
  • Support youth with daily routines, hygiene, chores, and personal development
  • Engage in group therapy and team-building activities
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive environment
  • Implement treatment strategies alongside clinical teams
  • Maintain professional boundaries while offering genuine mentorship

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Age 21+
  • Ability to pass background checks and physical
  • Experience in residential care or with at-risk youth preferred (but not required)
