ABC Warehouse is growing our sales team in Holland, Michigan and is currently seeking an outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-driven Furniture & Bedding Expert to join our retail sales team. GUARANTEED TRAINING WAGE FOR THE FIRST EIGHT (8) WEEKS OF EMPLOYMENT!


Our newly hired commissioned sales associates will receive a guaranteed training wage of $19.00/hr for the first eight (8) weeks of employment. At a regular Full Time 40-hour workweek, this is equivalent to $760/ per week!

Furniture & Bedding Expert Duties and Responsibilities


  • Engage with customers to understand their comfort, style, and sleep needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on furniture layouts, bedding solutions, and mattress selection.
  • Sell furniture, mattresses, and related products while delivering a consultative sales experience.
  • Educate customers on features, materials, comfort levels, and warranty options.
  • Assist customers with financing applications and protection plans.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of furniture collections, bedding brands, and sleep technology.
  • Answer incoming calls and motivate customers to visit the store.
  • Assist management with day-to-day store procedures and operations.
  • Help maintain showroom appearance by ensuring furniture and bedding displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Ensure product pricing and promotional displays are accurate and current.
  • Assist with inventory control and stockroom organization.
  • Attend training meetings and demonstrations to continually improve product knowledge and sales expertise.
  • Monitor and stay knowledgeable about current sales promotions and advertisements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive and memorable shopping experience.
  • Actively represent ABC Warehouse in a professional and positive manner.
  • Introduce customers to management when needed and assist with resolving customer concerns.
  • Assist store management with operational tasks as needed.

 

Furniture & Bedding Expert Qualifications


  • Previous furniture, mattress, or retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Strong ability to sell, upsell, and explain financing and protection plans.
  • Personable, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to learn and explain product features, comfort levels, materials, and benefits.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to follow company procedures and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong desire to grow product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a retail store environment with weekend availability.
  • Ability to follow a schedule and contribute to overall store coverage.
