About the Role

Shaka Wear is currently seeking a Retail Picking Associate who will accurately and efficiently process customer orders by picking items from warehouse inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellence in verbal and written communication, have exceptional attention to detail, and be familiar with inventory management programs and processes.

Objectives of the Role

●      Picking items: Using barcodes or serial numbers to find items on shelves.

●      Packing items: Securely placing items in boxes or envelopes for delivery.

●      Preparing orders: Completing picking processes and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.

●      Maintaining inventory: Assisting with inventory movement and maintaining inventory records.

●      May use material handling equipment like forklifts to load trucks for deliveries/pickups.

●      May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision.

●      Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

●      Be able to carry loads up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

●      Have a working knowledge of basic math skills.

●      Follows all Location Safety and Security Guidelines.

●      Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows department training guidelines, best practices, and operating procedures.

●      Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays (if needed).

●      Flexible working capacity to work in multiple departments.
