Reports To: Director of Business Development / VP of Sales

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Position Type: Full-time / Exempt

Salary: $85,000 per year + performance based commission + Bonus

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth and strengthen client partnerships in these sectors.
Position Summary:
The BDM is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships within one or more of our key sectors: Light Industrial, IT, Healthcare, Accounting & Finance, Hospitality, or Corporate Services. This role involves the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, working closely with recruiters to ensure top-tier delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new client accounts within target industries through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to sector-specific client needs.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers (e.g., hiring managers, HR, department heads, executives).
  • Conduct needs analyses and craft customized staffing solutions (temporary, temp-to-perm, direct hire).
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company goals.
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure seamless client service and talent delivery.
  • Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and report activity using the CRM.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred (business, marketing, human resources, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling staffing services in at least one of the following:
    • Light Industrial (e.g., warehouse, manufacturing, distribution)
    • IT (e.g., software development, infrastructure, support)
    • Healthcare (e.g., clinical, allied health, administrative support)
    • Accounting & Finance (e.g., CPAs, financial analysts, AR/AP)
    • Hospitality (e.g., food service, housekeeping, front desk)
    • Corporate Services (e.g., administrative, customer service, call centers)
  • Strong knowledge of contingent labor, direct hire, and workforce management models.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution.
