Job description

The internet sales BDC is responsible for assisting the sales team in developing, processing, managing, following up and tracking all internet inquires and working to stay in contact with customers and schedule appointments for customers to come in a meet with a sales representative. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting and communicating with customers to identify vehicle needs. 
  • Build and maintain knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, dealership and manufacture events and promotions. 
  • Utilize computer and phone skills within our internet department to increase appointments, sales and customer retention. 
  • Help to reach store goals and produce a 15% closing ratio for internet sales. 
  • Respond to email and text inquires in a quick, professional and well-spoken manner. 
  • Check department emails and text messages, be prepared to respond immediately
  • Generate solid appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity

Qualifications:

  • Ability to present  information in a clear and professional manner
  • Able to handle objections over the phone
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer and phone skills (ELeads, reports, internet, Office)
  • Bilingual is always a plus - please mention when applying
  • Prior automotive sales, call center, internet department or BDC experience -1 year 
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Time management, prioritization skills and ability to multi-task are required
  • Dependable, punctual and a self starter
