Job Summary

The Sales Business Development Center (BDC) Agent is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications to generate showroom appointments and support vehicle sales. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers and plays a critical role in delivering a positive customer experience while driving sales opportunities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads via phone, text, email, and digital platforms

  • Make outbound calls to follow up on internet leads, unsold showroom traffic, and service-to-sales opportunities

  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the CRM system

  • Confirm appointments and perform follow-up communications to maximize show rates

  • Collaborate closely with sales managers and sales consultants to ensure a seamless handoff of appointments

  • Follow dealership scripts, processes, and compliance guidelines while maintaining a natural, customer-focused conversation

  • Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals (calls, appointments set, appointments shown, sales support)

  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent the dealership in a professional and positive manner

  • Participate in training, coaching, and performance reviews as required


Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior experience in automotive BDC, call center, or sales environment preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
