Job description

Major Job Responsibilities will include:
  • Produce and batch in-spec concrete for area projects.
  • Dispatch daily trucks for safe and timely delivery of concrete.
  • Manage phones to assist concrete customers with daily orders.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory of raw material to meet plant needs.
  • Complete daily reporting and paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Manage the preventative maintenance schedule and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Help resolve quality or customer issues.
  • Address or escalate personnel issues.
  • Promote a people-first and safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license and qualify under KRC Safety Fleet Policy.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
• Regular attendance required.
• Communicate efficiently with customers and company personnel .
• Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and of the company products.
• Ability to take initiative to increase the quality of one's skills to become more efficient .
• Ability to read and interpret maps.
• Perform mathematical functions pertaining to billing, volumes, quantities, etc.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute ratio, percentage, draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Computer skills to enter orders into software.
