Pay & Location
  • Pay: $25.00 โ€“ $38.00/hour + overtime (1.5x)
  • Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) after training
  • Training Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Plant Operators to support the commissioning, startup, and ongoing operation of a cutting-edge industrial chemical process facility. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization building a next-generation production process from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with commissioning and startup of a new industrial chemical plant
  • Operate and monitor chemical processing systems to ensure safe, efficient production
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and process adjustments
  • Monitor and control process variables using instrumentation and control systems
  • Document production data and maintain accurate operational records
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability
  • Follow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety protocols
Systems & Equipment

You will be working with complex industrial systems, including:

  • Motors, pumps, pipes, valves
  • Meters, gauges, and sensors
  • Compressors and conveyors
  • Fluid and chemical handling systems
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience operating in a chemical, fluid, or industrial plant environment
  • Hands-on experience with process operations and plant equipment
  • Knowledge and application of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SCADA or DCS systems
  • Experience in chemical handling or wastewater operations
  • Exposure to process safety management and plant optimization
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Initial training on a day shift (Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM)
  • Transition to a rotating schedule:
    • 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM)
    • Rotation of 4 days on / 4 days off, then 3 days on / 3 days off
    • Monthly rotation between day and night shifts
    • Night shift differential available
