Job description

We are working with a growing technology company seeking an experienced Quality Manager Consultant to support an upcoming ISO 9001 audit. This person will take the lead on audit preparation, review the current Quality Management System, address gaps, and work closely with leadership and internal process owners to ensure the organization is fully prepared.


Responsibilities:


• Lead preparation for the upcoming ISO 9001 audit

• Review the existing QMS and identify areas requiring attention

• Conduct gap assessments, internal audits, and audit readiness reviews

• Prioritize and manage corrective actions through completion

• Review and update quality procedures, documentation, and supporting records

• Work with department leaders to make sure processes are being followed and properly documented

• Prepare employees and process owners for discussions with external auditors

• Organize documentation and supporting evidence requested during the audit

• Provide hands-on support throughout the external audit process

• Track audit findings and coordinate corrective actions as needed

• Provide leadership with updates on audit readiness, open items, and potential risks


Qualifications:


• Previous experience preparing a company for an ISO 9001 certification or surveillance audit

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management Systems

• Experience conducting internal audits and gap assessments

• Background managing corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and document control

• Ability to organize and manage multiple audit-related priorities within a tight timeline

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with employees at different levels of an organization

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the audit preparation process

• NetSuite experience is helpful but not required
