Pay Structure

  • Bulk Plant Operator Trainee (BPO Trainee): $16.50/hr
  • Bulk Plant Operator I (BPO I): $18.50/hr
  • Bulk Plant Operator II (BPO II): $21.00/hr
  • Bulk Plant Operator III (BPO III): $23.00/hr

Position Summary

The Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) to customers. This role manages bulk plant facilities to support the preparation, quality control, and delivery of bulk materials to well sites. The operator follows standard work (SW), manages operational risk, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

The Bulk Plant Operator also assists with training operators and trainees while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all job deliverables are accurate and completed on time
  • Blend and mix bulk products according to job program design and delivery schedules
  • Calculate and verify quantities of material blends prior to loading
  • Follow Product Line quality assurance procedures to ensure proper loading
  • Coordinate movement of bulk products with PSD and Logistics teams
  • Assist with daily paperwork and monthly inventory for materials received and shipped
  • Label, store, and handle additives safely; ensure proper disposal of empty drums and pails
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain cleanliness of the bulk plant
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Wear required PPE and strictly follow HSE policies
