Batley's Grill & Bar is currently seeking an Overnight Janitorial Attendant to join our team.

Typical Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM (flexible scheduling may be available)

Position Overview

As Overnight Janitorial Attendant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, restrooms, kitchen floors, and other public spaces. This position requires the ability to work independently, follow sanitation standards, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restaurant surfaces, including floors, tables, chairs, and restrooms
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining room floors
  • Empty trash and recycling containers
  • Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
  • Identify and report maintenance or repair concerns
  • Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Restaurant, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices is beneficial
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport supplies and equipment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead or below the knees
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
