Summary:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Beverage Supervisor oversees the operational aspects of the beverage operations within a casino bar, hotel bar, and banquet bar setting. The Supervisor provides leadership and support to their team, maintaining a professional and efficient operation. This role includes managing bartenders, bar porters, and beverage servers, ensuring high standards of service, fostering teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent diploma is required.
2. General leadership development courses to include communication, conflict resolution, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making are preferred.
ESSENTIAL:
1. The Beverage Supervisor demonstrates exceptional leadership by effectively guiding the beverage team, motivating staff, and ensuring seamless execution of beverage experiences.
2. The ability to immediately demonstrate proficiency in all beverage operation aspects.
3. Must demonstrate technological capabilities in Microsoft Office Applications, point-of-sale systems, and other restaurant and business technologies.
4. Within 14 days of regular employment, successfully complete TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or other property-approved responsible beverage course.
5. ServSafe Food Handler required within 14 days of regular employment.
6. Within 30 days of regular employment, the employee must acquire an operator license to sell alcoholic beverages in the municipality of employment.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of two years experience working in a bar or beverage operation, preferably in a resort setting.
