We are now accepting applications for our Retail Banking Staffing Coordinator position, which will work out of our Centerville, UT office. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to perform the following functions:

  • Create schedules for retail branches and manages a group of Retail Support employees who cover for branch employee turnover, leaves, etc.
  • Work directly with branch managing staff and regional leadership to create branch schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Act as the point of contact for same day call outs and working with regional presidents on staffing strategies.
  • Directly oversee a team of Retail Support employees for the area they manage.
  • Provide ongoing sales coaching and development support, reinforcing referral behaviors and strong customer engagement practices.
  • Partner with branch and regional leadership to identify staffing gaps, skill needs, and succession considerations, contributing to proactive workforce planning.
  • Support the preparation and readiness of Retail Support employees to effectively perform branch operational and cash handling responsibilities when deployed.
  • Maintain awareness of operational activity to identify potential compliance or process risks, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Be responsible for approving timecards expenses.
  • Perform other responsibilities, assignments, and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School diploma or Equivalent and 1+ years of banking, bank operations, or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Working knowledge of banking, branch operations, and accounting principles.
  • Ability to manage, supervise, and coordinate schedules for Retail Support employees.
  • Strong organizational, problem resolution, client and employee relation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of staffing software including spreadsheet, word processing, etc.
  • Ability to coach employees on service and sales behaviors while maintaining strong operational and compliance standards preferred.
