About the Role: Research and Adjustment
The Research and Adjustment position is responsible for a range of duties related to the daily deposit operations of the bank, including core system functions, information verification, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing, foreign and domestic wire transfers
  • Reconcile and manage bank's daily cash position
  • Reconcile Check Reconciliation System (CRS) and Financial Management System (FMS) daily
  • Reconcile various GL accounts daily; research out of balance items.
  • Process incoming requests, including subpoenas and levies, from various sources (government entities, court action, attorneys)
  • Responsible for submitting federal and state interest withholding
  • Process annual escheatment
  • Review and track W-8 BEN customers for accuracy and renewals
  • Process foreign checks
  • Process check adjustments and duplicate items & stop payments
  • Team member of the Fraud Squad
  • Submit check fraud cases
  • Review and process overdraft decisions
  • Responsible for the Charge off deposit account process
  • Complete weekly administrative tasks for CDARS and ICS programs
  • Provide support to Tellers and Customer Services Representatives at all Bank First locations
  • Provide support to Deposit Operations co-workers in their absence
  • Lockbox Processing
  • Review closed deposit accounts
  • Follow procedures and share knowledge with others
  • Accept and provide assistance for special projects as needed

  • Associates degree in business or accounting and banking experience preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of bank products and services
  • Proficient use of computers, spreadsheets and various database systems. Strong Word and Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge or ability to learn applicable banking and/or regulatory policies and procedures
