Job description

We’re looking for our next Channel Champion to join the team as our Technical Account Manager!

AboutChannelscaler

Channelscaler is transforming how companies scale through their partners. Our AI-powered platform automates and simplifies partner engagement — from onboarding and incentives to performance tracking — helping vendors and partners grow faster together.

With one unified system, companies manage their entire partner lifecycle with ease and clarity. We’re building a category-defining company rooted in expertise, empathy, and innovation — and we’re just getting started.

About the Role

As the Technical Account Manager, you’ll serve as the primary technical owner and trusted advisor for an assigned portfolio of Channelscaler customers, helping them successfully implement, operate, and optimize the platform.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business processes, configuration, integrations, data flows, and technical objectives, working closely with Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Product, Engineering, and Integration teams to drive successful outcomes.

This role does not carry a sales quota or direct commercial target, and is critical to strong customer technical health and long-term platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers, understanding their platform configuration, integrations, data flows, and technical objectives.
  • Guide customers through technical discovery, configuration, testing, launch, and ongoing optimization, translating requirements into scalable, supportable solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance across APIs, SSO, CRM connections, data mapping, file exchanges, and other integrations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate configuration, integration, data-quality, scalability, and operational risks.
  • Coordinate complex technical escalations across Support, Product, Engineering, and Integration teams, ensuring clear technical context, business impact, and next steps.
  • Enable customer administrators through technical workshops, configuration reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Partner with the Customer Success Manager on account planning, adoption, customer health, risk management, executive reviews, renewal readiness, and the joint technical roadmap.
  • Represent customer technical needs internally while communicating product capabilities, limitations, and alternatives; support technical evaluation of new capabilities and contribute to internal best practices.
What Success Looks Like
  • Strong technical health and self-sufficiency across the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Successful, on‑time implementations, launches, and integrations.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of technical and operational risks.
  • Improved integration reliability and a reduction in recurring issues.
  • Effective escalation management and high customer technical stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in technical account management, implementation consulting, solutions consulting, technical customer success, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong customer‑facing communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SaaS configuration, APIs, integrations, SSO, CRM systems, data mapping, or file‑based data exchange.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, document findings, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate customer business processes into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred (nice to have):

  • Experience with partner relationship management, channel technology, MDF, incentives, rebates, deal registration, or partner portals.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another enterprise CRM.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, middleware, logs, and integration mappings.
  • Experience supporting enterprise implementations, migrations, or technically complex customer programs.
Location & Work Environment

Channelscaler is a remote‑first company with team members across the U.S., Ireland, India, and the U.K. For this role, we prefer candidates based in the U.S., with flexibility for overlap across the assigned customer portfolio’s time zones. Minimal travel expected.

What We Offer

We thrive in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment that values curiosity and ownership.

  • Competitive base salary and performance‑based bonus or commission (where applicable)
  • 25 days of paid time off annually
  • 12 dedicated training days per year for professional development
  • Paid parental leave
  • Health insurance (PPO and HSA plan options)
  • 401(k) match
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Annual team offsites and opportunities for in‑person collaboration
Equal Opportunity Employer

Channelscaler is an equal‑opportunity employer. We believe that diverse teams create better outcomes. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees, including those with disabilities. If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application or perform the essential functions of the job, please contact HR@Channelscaler.com.
