Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated AWS Solutions Architect to serve as a key technical advisor and trusted partner to our customers. This role sits at the intersection of sales, technology, and customer success—helping clients envision, architect, and adopt AWS solutions that accelerate business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, excelling in client engagements from early discovery through solution design and delivery handoff. You will collaborate closely with our sales, delivery, and managed services teams to develop innovative cloud architectures that address customer challenges, articulate business value, and drive new opportunities for Aligned TG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serveas thetechnical leadduring pre-sales engagements, collaborating with account executives to understand client business objectives and design AWS-based solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify requirements, challenges, and success criteria for cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives.
  • Architect secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS solutions aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and Aligned TG best practices.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and proofs-of-concept to customers, effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with AWS account teams to co-sell and position Aligned TG’s consulting and managed services offerings.
  • Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints and statements of work (SOWs) that guide delivery teams.
  • Maintain deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and emerging technologies to provide clients with thought leadership and future-state roadmaps.
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategy, and RFP responses with accurate, high-quality technical content.
  • Collaborate with delivery engineers to ensure smooth handoffs, alignment, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, continuously identifying opportunities to optimize, innovate, and expand AWS adoption.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS compute, networking, storage, and database services, as well as modern architectures such as serverless, containers, and microservices.
  • Experience developing architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and solution documentation using AWS tools and best practices.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and DevOps principles.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in AWS environments.
Technical Requirements
  • Deep proficiency in AWS solution design and architecture patterns across multiple workloads (migration, modernization, data analytics, application hosting).
  • Experience integrating third-party or hybrid cloud solutions into AWS environments.
