Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS Cloud Application Support Engineer in Juno Beach, FL.
Duties Include:
* Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and APIs hosted in AWS environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability
* Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of enterprise applications using AWS services, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions
* Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, query analysis, data integrity, and issue resolution
* Develop, maintain, and support Python-based services and RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and external business applications
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting cloud applications and APIs in AWS
* Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL, Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS CloudWatch for deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution
* Experience with Python-based services, REST APIs, and AWS services such as ECS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, and managed PostgreSQL
* Familiarity with TypeScript, AWS CDK, or other infrastructure-as-code tools is preferred
* Experience supporting SAP, finance, procurement, or supply chain systems is highly valued
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
