Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is pioneering new ways of building massively scalable distributed systems and delivering the next generation of classified cloud computing to support the US public sector, highly regulated industries, national security organizations, and the Intelligence Community (IC).
The AWS Government Regions Go To Market (GTM) team is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-impact organization supporting the IC and their classified missions and IT workloads.

In this role you will identify strategic business trends, industry challenges, and security/compliance requirements for classified programs and applications. You will shape the AWS classified cloud business strategy and develop transformational solutions that accelerate customers' cloud adoption and mission success.
The ideal candidate will understand cloud computing, have experience working with classified programs across the IC, and possess a background in partner and business development.

They will also demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges while diving deep to develop and execute go-to-market programs. Candidates will develop and communicate compelling customer value propositions and business case/financial proposals. This is an opportunity to directly shape how the nation's most critical missions move to the cloud.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Business Development Manager for the Classified cloud, you will:
- Research, develop, and execute the GTM strategy, initiatives and enablement materials to expand business opportunities and increase Classified cloud adoption across the IC.
- Work with AWS sales, partner development, and supporting teams on customer engagements and GTM plan execution.
- Capture industry and customer business, technical, and security requirements and priorities.
- Partner with customer-obsessed AWS teams to propose and develop innovative mission-critical cloud solutions.
- Build compelling business cases to support detailed product feature requests.
- Collaborate with AWS marketing and other business development teams to develop new campaigns, programs, initiatives, and supporting collateral for the AWS Classified cloud.
