Role Description

The ProgramManager is responsible for planning,managing, and administering VIP interior cabin completion programs fortransport category aircraft executed under Civil Aviation Regulatory AuthoritySupplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects. This role serves as the primarycustomer advocate and the single point of contact for both customers andexecutive leadership throughout the building, completion, and delivery phasesof the aircraft.

The Program Managerensures that aircraft completion programs are delivered safely, on schedule,within budget, and in accordance with engineering specifications, regulatoryrequirements, and customer expectations. The core objective of this role is tocoordinate cross-functional teams and manage program execution to support thecompany's operational, commercial, and customer satisfaction goals.


Essential Job Functions

        Lead integratedprogram planning, scheduling, and project control activities within amulti-functional matrix organization to optimize resource allocation and ensureadherence to cost and schedule requirements.

        Ensureproduction, engineering, executive leadership, and cost management teamsmaintain clear visibility into program demands to enable effectiveprioritization and resource planning.

        Develop andmaintain integrated program management frameworks and processes that supportefficient planning and execution across multiple departments and sharedresource centers.

        Prepare programreports, presentations, and updates to communicate performance status tocustomers and leadership, including progress against technical, commercial, andaesthetic project requirements.

        Develop, manage,and maintain the master program schedule and associated program budgets.

        Coordinatecommercial and technical interactions with key program subcontractors andexternal partners.

        Contribute to thedevelopment and refinement of internal operating procedures to supportcontinuous improvement and corporate operational development.

        Standardizecustomer communications to ensure alignment with Comlux corporate communicationstandards across all aircraft completion programs.

        Maintain regularcoordination and communication with customer representatives throughout theentire program lifecycle.

        Supportperformance evaluations of key personnel based on direct observations andexperience gained during program execution.

        Identify andresolve program risks, issues, and conflicts within project teams, escalatingcritical concerns to executive leadership when appropriate.

        Develop anddeliver final program executive reports summarizing financial performance,technical results, operational outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.

        Perform otherrelated duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications,Education and Experience

        Bachelor's degreein engineering, aviation management, or a related field required.

        Minimum 10 yearsof experience in project planning and program management, preferably within theaviation industry.

        Minimum 5 yearsof experience in an STC environment supporting business or private aircraftcompletions or modifications on transport category aircraft.

        Experience withBoeing or Airbus aircraft platforms preferred.

        Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact withinternal teams, customers, and executive leadership.

        Demonstratedexperience in progressive leadership roles within aircraft production, aircraftcompletions, or aviation maintenance environments.

        Strong technicalproblem-solving and crisis management capabilities within complex aviationproduction environments.

        Ability to readand interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.

 

Required Skills andAbilities

        Comprehensiveknowledge of aircraft completion processes and program execution within a VIPaircraft environment.

        Demonstratedleadership ability, strong business acumen, initiative, and the ability todrive operational results.

        Strongunderstanding of lean manufacturing principles as applied to aircraftcompletions and aviation production environments.

        Excellentcommunication and presentation skills with the ability to influencestakeholders and present information to leadership and customers.

        Proven ability tolead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production,quality, and program management functions.

        Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience using Microsoft Project or similarproject scheduling tools; advanced proficiency preferred.

This position is based withinboth corporate office and aircraft hangar environments and may involve:
