Job description

Our Kenosha, WI corporate office is searching for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, self-reliant, proactive, and detail oriented. We are looking for a “go getter” and someone who takes initiative. For the selected candidate we will provide the opportunity for growth, a generous benefit package, and a professional environment.


Primary Responsibilities
Supervising your department through all aspects of data entry, research, project management, accounting, recordkeeping, accounts payable/accounts receivable and owner reporting.


  • Create, review and distribute invoices, account statements, monthly aircraft owner statements and other financial reports as needed.
  • Reconciliation of aircraft activity folders, flight logs and expense reports to ensure accurate and prompt invoices reach clients and owners in a timely manner.
  • Serve as main point of contact for office staff, pilots, aircraft owners and charter clients with regards to billing/invoicing items.
  • Your daily tasks include heavy Excel spreadsheet usage and accounting software.
  • Be capable of leading a department of 3-5 accountants in proper processing of reports, checklists, recordkeeping, flight booking or one of the many aspects of charter trips.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance on daily tasks, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Work closely with and support multiple departments. Communicate timely and accurately with other team members.
  • Be polite and understanding. You never know what a customer or team member is going through and your ability to respond professionally is what makes our company better.
  • Be a positive leader that is not only a teacher, but a learner. Everyone has skills and strengths; we need you to bring that out in your team.
  • Be attentive and focus on the details for the task at hand. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Reply to emails using professionalism and timeliness.
  • Exercise independent judgement, decision making abilities and the desire to become a key member in the growth of our organization.


Position Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree preferred, but an accounting work history demonstrating a solid work ethic is an excellent substitute.
-Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Detail-oriented with superb organizational skills.
-Proficient in MS Office and experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred.
-A passion to learn, increase skills, and take on new projects and responsibilities
-Willingness to do what it takes to finish your projects every day.
-Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
