Schedule: Fully onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

  • The Accounting Associate will maintain and reconcile financial records and account balances

  • Prepare payroll and leave reports as needed

  • Monitor and maintain AP inboxes, ensuring timely responses and processing

  • Compile financial summaries and assist with reporting requirements

  • The Accounting Associate will provide bookkeeping support for complex financial accounts

  • Monitor budget activity and investigate variances or discrepancies

  • Analyze financial transactions and verify the accuracy of accounting records

  • Reconcile account balances and research issues to resolution

  • Audit account activity and prepare necessary adjustments and corrections

  • The Accounting Associate will generate financial reports using accounting systems and Excel

  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist with special projects and additional accounting duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Associate Role:
  • 4+ years of general accounting experience

  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Knowledge of purchase order processes and accounting controls

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
