Your Job
Koch, a large multinational company across various industries, is seeking a Senior Tax Accounting Analyst to join our tax accounting team. Tax law and technology is ever changing and as such, the reporting and accounting for tax positions continues to transform and develop.
We're looking for someone who's passionate about financial reporting and analysis, teaching and sharing knowing with others, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This role can be based out of our Atlanta, GA or Plano, TX office.
What You Will Do
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740
  • Prepare income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit
  • Participate in communicating anticipated tax results to key stakeholders based on business operations and key drivers
  • Participate in analysis of economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities
  • Build relationships and partner with various tax, accounting and business team members to understand various business tax positions
  • Identify and assist in waste elimination and transformation opportunities that will provide value within the tax accounting organization

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in corporate or state income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results, and driving initiatives forward

What Will Put You Ahead
  • One Source Tax Provision experience
  • Experience applying ASC740 principles including but not limited to income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, valuation allowances, etc.
