About the Role

ASI is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist โ€“ Autonomous Commercial Landscaping to accelerate the adoption of autonomous commercial mowing throughout the Southeast.

This is a territory-based sales role responsible for owning the complete customer journey-from prospecting and qualifying opportunities through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing new business.

You'll work directly with commercial landscape companies, municipalities, universities, corporate campuses, and other professional grounds maintenance organizations to introduce autonomous mowing as a competitive advantage.

Success in this role comes from being consultative, technically curious, highly organized, and comfortable helping customers embrace innovative technology.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle for your assigned territory, generating new business and growing revenue.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with commercial landscaping organizations and key decision makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, discovery meetings, and presentations.
  • Educate customers on the operational, labor, financial, and sustainability benefits of autonomous mowing.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with owners, operations leaders, and executive decision makers.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Represent ASI at trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry associations.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and pipeline management using HubSpot CRM.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to help shape future product development.
  • Achieve and exceed territory sales objectives and revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
  • 2โ€“5 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close complex sales opportunities.
  • Experience selling into organizations ranging from approximately $5M to $500M in annual revenue.
  • Strong consultative selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and business development.
  • Experience managing opportunities within a CRM (HubSpot preferred).
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Comfortable towing or operating a truck and trailer for equipment demonstrations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
